To be there for humans

Medicaroid’s Robot is to serve and assist humans, not to replace humans.

hinotori™ was developed as a robotic assisted surgery system to reproduce surgeon’s sensitive movement, which is essential for surgeries. What made this possible is Kawasaki Heavy Industry‘s robot technology cultivated for over 50 years and Sysmex Corporation’s network and knowledge in the healthcare field. Medicaroid will pursue the development of new features and service to realize the non-invasive patient-friendly surgery.

Surgeon Cockpit

The hinotoriTM surgeon cockpit is ergonomically designed to optimize the physical characteristics of humans, which results in less fatigue for the surgeon.

Operation Unit

The 8-axes arm and embedded software minimize the range of motion of the arm, like human movement, and as a result, reduce collisions.

hinotoriTM does not require docking between trocars and robotic arms. The software determines the pivot point of the movement, which also leads to more space around the trocar.

Expanded working space at the patient with improving the functional space for assistant surgeon.
